Ashley Frazier is the Owner of Frazier Education and Counseling Services, and a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor licensed in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. She has been working in the mental health counseling field for over 10+ years and challenges herself to learn something new and grow as a therapist each day. She received her Master of Education in Counselor Education with a major in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta State University. Throughout her career, she’s had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages with a variety of different presenting problems. Ms. Frazier enjoys assisting clients who might be experiencing difficulties in the following areas, Addiction, ADHD/ADD, Anger, Anxiety, Behavioral problems, Communication issues, Conflict with peers, Depression, Deployment, Divorce, Grief, and Trauma to name a few. Her specialty is Addictions as she has advanced training in substance abuse counseling and has worked with the population for years in different aspects and levels.

She believes in SPEAKING LIFE, SHEDDING LIGHT, SPREADING LOVE, SHARING LAUGHTER, motivating, encouraging, engaging, directing, assisting, and navigating her clients, on their journey through life to fulfill their goals, dreams, and heart’s desire! A great deal of her practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based and she highly supports the use of CBT as it is evidenced based and if used effectively, and you engage the client and assist them with seeing the correlation between our thoughts and behaviors and that much of how we feel is determined by what we think, you will then be ready to assist them with getting to their goal. She’s versatile and adjusts her theoretical orientation accordingly to meet the needs of her clients at the moment. Ms. Frazier recognizes that the counseling process is a unique experience that can spark various emotions, some of which place individuals in a state of vulnerability. To be the most effective and efficient clinician and provide the best level of care that she can, her goal is to not confine herself into one skill set especially when another orientation might be most beneficial to explore in order to promote the most growth within the client.

Ms. Frazier has a strong passion for helping others and assisting where she can. She’s always believed in the motto “Exceeding Expectations”. She believes it takes more than just doing her part and sometimes we have to go “Above and Beyond” in order to get results. She lives by the motto “Good just isn’t always good enough” and encourages and motivates others to seek everything that they desire. She is always looking forward to meeting new clients and is honored to have the opportunity to assist you.
